Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Me põe na boa handles personal data when you visit the mepoenaboa.com website and when you chat with Beto, our artificial intelligence agent on WhatsApp. It follows Brazil's General Data Protection Law (Law No. 13,709/2018, LGPD).

1. Who is responsible

2. What data we process

  • Chats with Beto: your phone number, your WhatsApp profile name and the content of the messages you send (for example, the kind of night out, the neighborhood and who you're going with).
  • Website browsing: usage data collected by Google Analytics, such as pages visited, clicks, language, device type and approximate city. Analytics cookies are only used if you accept them.
  • Preferences: the language you chose and your cookie decision, stored in your browser.

We do not ask for ID documents, passwords or payment details. Please do not send Beto sensitive data (such as health, religion or sexual orientation) or other people's data.

3. How we use it

  • To reply to your messages and recommend things to do based on what you asked for;
  • to remember the context of the conversation, so you don't have to repeat your preferences;
  • to analyze conversations to improve Beto and its recommendations;
  • to understand how the website is used and measure its results;
  • to comply with legal obligations and exercise our rights.

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Legal bases

  • Performance of the service you request when you message Beto (LGPD, art. 7, V);
  • legitimate interest, to improve Beto and keep the service secure (art. 7, IX), always respecting your rights and expectations;
  • consent, for the website's analytics cookies (art. 7, I), which you can withdraw at any time;
  • compliance with legal obligations (art. 7, II).

5. Artificial intelligence

Beto is an artificial intelligence, not a person. Your messages are processed automatically to generate replies. Recommendations are suggestions and have no legal effect on you.

6. Who we share it with

Only with providers that help us run the service, and only as needed:

  • Meta (WhatsApp), where the conversation takes place, which follows its own privacy policy;
  • artificial intelligence and cloud infrastructure providers, which process messages on our behalf;
  • Google (Google Analytics), for website statistics.

We may also share data when required by law or by an authority.

7. International transfers

Some of these providers may store or process data outside Brazil. In those cases, we adopt the safeguards provided for in the LGPD, such as data protection contractual clauses.

8. How long we keep it

  • Chats with Beto: for as long as you use the service. They are deleted if you ask or after 12 months without any conversation.
  • Google Analytics data: for the period set in Google Analytics, up to 14 months.
  • Cookies: see section 9.

We may keep some data longer when required by law.

9. Cookies

The website uses:

  • mpnb_lang: stores the language you chose (1 year). Necessary.
  • mpnb_consent: stores your cookie decision (6 months). Necessary.
  • _ga and _ga_*: Google Analytics cookies (up to 2 years). Only if you accept.

You can change your choice at any time under "Cookie preferences" in the website footer, or delete cookies in your browser.

10. Your rights

Under the LGPD, you can request: confirmation that we process your data; access to it; correction; anonymization, blocking or deletion; portability; information about who we share it with; and withdrawal of consent. You can also object to processing based on legitimate interest.

To exercise these rights, write to support@mepoenaboa.com. We reply within 15 days. If you are not satisfied, you can file a complaint with Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).

11. Security

We use technical and administrative measures to protect data, such as encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access control. No system is completely secure: if an incident could put you at risk, we will notify you and the ANPD, as the law requires.

12. Minors

Me põe na boa is intended for people aged 18 or older. If we learn that we have processed a minor's data, we will delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the version in force, and important changes will be announced on the website.
